Brother Printer - Scanner error code 38
Cause: - The machine does not work due to a paper jam.
Solution: -Machine stops working whenever there is an issue of paper jamming. Paper jamming is also known a ghost jamming. It is not an uncommon problem. Every printer user faces once in a while.
- Turn off your printer.
- Unplug your printer.
- Before unplugging your printer make sure to cancel all the printing jobs.
- Now gently remove all the papers from the tray and reload it again.
- Also, check for small torn out pieces stuck inside.
- Once you done with the clearance of all the papers, open the access door.
- You will be able to access the rollers inside and clean them gently. Also, don’t forget to remove the debris with soft and moist paper towel.
- Check whether it has paper stuck inside or not. If yes, then remove it smoothly without tearing it.
- Also, when you open the access door, clean the rollers present inside.
Once, you done with cleaning you can close the access door and plug the printer.
